This cajun pasta recipe is definitely a southern comfort food meal! It is basically an adult mac and cheese with hot dogs but with so much more flavor. My husband, Robin, discovered this dish while we were dating and he made it for us as a date night. Since then it has become a favorite staple meal in our home.
I have also made it for guests a few times and it is always a hit! The only people who haven’t liked it are my dad and brother who are literally the most picky eaters on the planet! So chances are good it’ll be a hit for you too.
So let’s get going.
