Lucky Charms Cereal Bars Recipe

A rice crispy treat is a delicious and easy dessert to whip up with your kids. If you are looking for something just as easy but a little more special or unique then try these Lucky Charms cereal bars. They are super fun to make and easy enough that kids can help.

Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Lucky Charms
  • 1 Bag of Marshmallows
  • 1 Stick of Butter

Instructions for Lucky Charms Cereal Bars

Start by separating out roughly ⅓ of the lucky charms marshmallows and set them aside. We will use them as toppings later.

Next melt the stick of butter in a pot and once it is completely melted add in the bag of marshmallows. Stir continuously until the marshmallows are melted.

Remove the pan from the heat and mix in the lucky charms. Stir until all the cereal is well coated. 

Then put the entire mixture into a well greased 9×13 pan and allow it to cool. Once they’ve cooled off, cut them into squares and enjoy!

Lucky charms cereal bars are a gooey and delicious dessert to make  with the kids. They are a festive St. Patricks Day dessert or a fun pastel easter treat. have fun making this easy dessert!

These Lucky Charms cereal bars are an especially fun treat around St. Patrick’s Day thanks to the green hat and rainbow marshmallows. If you wanted to get really festive you could even add green food coloring to the butter and marshmallow mixture before adding the cereal.
