Chicken Salad and Naan Sandwich

I hate wasting food so a while back when I had some leftover naan bread and some shredded chicken I decided to make chicken salad (YUM!) and try eating it on the naan bread instead of normal bread. Some experiments utterly fail, like a sesame chicken I tried to throw together for dinner the other day. Not every experiment can be a success. Others like this chicken salad and naan sandwich are delicious and should’ve been discovered a long time ago.

If you knew about this and didn’t tell me, shame on you!

When I made this meal I was only making this a meal for one so definitely double or triple the recipe if you’re serving a family or a crowd. In this case I would say one chicken breast feeds two people. One to two sandwiches each depending on how much filling you use.

Chicken Salad and Naan Sandwich Instructions:

Time needed: 15 minutes

  1. Prep the Ingredients

Chop up the celery into small pieces and shred the cooked chicken. Then place them into a small bowl.

  2. Mix the Ingredients

Next mix the rest of the ingredients together in the bowl until the ingredients are spread evenly throughout.

  3. Fill the Naan Bread

Now simply place the mixture onto warm naan bread. The bread needs to be warm so that when you fold it into the taco shape the bread won’t rip.

Enjoy! I know I will be 🙂
