Three Ingredient Fudge

I LOVE CHOCOLATE. In all its delicious forms. One of my favorites is homemade fudge. This quick and easy three ingredient fudge is soft, creamy and yummy. The three pillars of good fudge!

But really, you have got to try it for yourself. I make it about once a week during the holiday season each year, both to share at every event as well as for myself at home! I highly recommend doubling the recipe if you plan on taking it anywhere to share.

Ingredients

The only ingredients you need for three ingredient fudge.
  • 14 oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Tbs Vanilla
  • Crushed Walnuts to taste (Optional)

Three Ingredient Fudge Instructions

Time needed: 10 minutes

  1. Mix the Base

In a medium size, microwave safe bowl dump in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk. Then mix them together.

  2. Heat it Up

Place the whole bowl in the microwave and run for one minute. Take it out and stir. Put it back in for 30 second intervals, mixing in between, until all the chocolate chips are completely melted.

  3. A Dash of Vanilla

Add the vanilla and mix thoroughly. If you are adding nuts, mix them in now too. Line a square pan with parchment paper.

  4. Let is Set

Pour the mixture into the parchment lined pan and smooth it out as best you can. Place the pan into the freezer and let it set until solid. Cut into bit sized squares, I like to use a pizza cutter for this because it glides right through.

I will have to try this out this Christmas. Does it work with flavored chips as well…like peanut butter?

    1. Rachel

Oh that is a really good question! I might have to try that. I would recommend doubling the recipe and doing one bag of regular chocolate chips and one bag of peanut butter that way there is still chocolate in it! I’m going to try that as soon as I get home from thanksgiving.

I have a question. I made this recipe last year but this time it didnt harden as much and is a little sticky. Any one know why that is. Did I not microwave long enough or?
