Saggy couch cushions don’t look good and they may make you feel like you need to buy a new couch. Before you run out and spend that money though try this cheap and easy tip to fix saggy couch cushions.
Our couch was purchased from Facebook marketplace in September and six months later the cushions were looking horribly sad and saggy. I was tired of looking at them but I didn’t want to buy a new one and spend more money. Plus I love our couch! It fits the space perfectly. So I set out to find an affordable solution.

If you have zippered couch cushions then the solution could not be any easier. For as little as $10-$15 you could have a couch that looks as good as new. All you need is a bag of stuffing.

Supplies
I bought a 16 oz bag for three cushions and had more than enough, we still have about half the bag left. So I linked the 12 oz bag instead. How much you need depends on how many cushions you are filling, how big the cushions are, and how much you want to fill the cushions up.
Instructions
Time needed: 20 minutes
- Unzip and Fluff
First things first is to unzip the cushion and fluff out the cushion inside the slip cover. This allows it to reform to its shape and you can really see what areas need more filling.
- Insert the Filling
Now start placing filling inside the slip cover in the saggy areas of the cushion. Remember to place filling in the corners and the top of the cushion as the are common areas where a cushion will sag the most.
- Asses the Cushion
Now zip up the cushion and prop it up.
- Repeat
If you see more areas that need filling then repeat steps 2-3 until you’re happy. After first refilling our cushions we used them for a day or two then I rechecked them and added a little more filling until I was happy.
