YUM! Pies are so good and with thanksgiving only once a year we need them more often! These pies were so good and I can’t wait to go again! I had the lemon pie that was perfectly tart and sweet.

They have three locations, one in Deep Ellum (a very chick neighborhood in Dallas) the others are in Bishops District and McKinney. They sell pies by the slice or by the pie. So if you aren’t a baker you can order one for a party or just a delicious dessert.

Legacy Hall

Legacy Hall is also on my Food Guide to Dallas and for good reason! It is essentially a giant food court for adults. With a wine bar and restaurants with cuisine from around the world. And that was all before dessert!

The dessert places are mouthwatering! One kiosk has french macaroons in so many unique flavors. They had a mango one when I went that was delicious. There is also ice cream, and dessert crepes that were very tempting.

Lastly, I want to mention the dessert waffles! They are big enough to share but yummy enough that you won’t want to!! I had the classic with nutella, strawberries and whipped cream and now I want another one.

Another place that is also on the Food Guide for its delicious exotic burgers also deserves mention for its smore’s shake. It tasted exactly like a toasted marshmallow and chocolate. It can recommended by one of the workers and he was on point!

They have a few other flavors you can also try if marshmallows aren’t your thing.

Last up for desserts in Dallas is Sweet Daze. Sweet Daze is probably the most Instagramable place I have ever been. They make gorgeous cakes, donuts and popsicles. If you are looking for an elaborate specialty cake I would not hesitate to order one from here.

One of the desserts they are best known for is a lemonade (or milk) topped with a slice of cake. They didn’t go together very well in my opinion (even I have a limit for sweetness) but individually they tasted good. Next time I think I would get milk with the cake.

They also offer several bases for their specialty ice creams. You can go wild here with the number of combinations.

This city in northern Texas has so much to offer, I had no idea before living there but now I can’t wait to go back. And while you’re in the south be sure to go a little further east and check out New Orleans, Louisiana. A great city with such amazing culture.
