Easter is coming up! It’s a great time to remember Jesus Christ our Savior and his resurrection. It is also a great time to celebrate with family and loved ones! And what is one super popular way to give gifts to our loved ones on Easter?! EASTER BASKETS! So I’ve come up with some fun and unique easter basket ideas for all of you to use. And they are not just for kids, there are TONS of great ideas for adults too. 🙂

So there are a few key objects that go into building an easter basket; the base, the treat, the “toys”, and the church clothing item. That last one was a family tradition, we always got a new church outfit on easter. Not a necessity but fun!

So lets get started!!

Setting Up Your Easter Basket

Picking a base:

Kids

• A toy that can hold objects – like this Dump Truck, or this Music Box.

Adult

• A six pack of their favorite drink like Cream Soda ♥(this one is actually a 24 pack, maybe just get a six pack from the store, but this one DOES have more room for additional gifts…).

Either

• A Traditional Easter Basket
• A Tin Bucket
• A Baseball Hat
• A Grey Wicker Basket
• A Dollar Store Bin
• Rain Boots! – like these Women’s Rain Boots, or Kids Rain Boots.
• A Bag – like a drawstring bag or a purse
• An Umbrella – it is spring after all.

TREATS!!

For the Young and the Old:

• Peeps – a classic!
• Cadbury Eggs
• Cadbury Mini Eggs
• Starburst Jellybeans!! – A personal favorite
• Easter Eggs – filled with just about any treat imaginable.

Clothing

• Hair Bows or Headbands – look at these cuties!
