Pin-spired Thrifted Outfits: February

Each month I pick out 4 pins from my Women’s Style board on Pinterest and use thrift shopping to recreate those outfits. You’ll get to see the whole process here as well as exactly how much I spent verses what would be spent at traditional stores.

Alright this is month TWO of this project and it is going so well!! My closet is slowly starting to look like my pinterest board. WHICH is basically  every girls dream. And I’m doing it for a fraction of the price it would normally cost me. I’m going to need a bigger closet soon! If you missed it you can still check out Januarys outfits!

Are you ready for this?

Ahh!! Leopard is in, although I feel like that is saying that cheetah is back in, but under a different name. I can’t really tell the difference but either way I’m behind it! (let me know the difference in the comments if you know).

I tried a new thrift store in my area and happened to go on a day when they were having a 50% off sale on all clothes!! Jackpot! AND even better they have a dollar section!!!!!!! When items stay in their store long enough they get put on this rack for fast sell. I found three awesome items on that rack and since it was 50% off that meant three awesome articles of clothing for $1.50. You should definitely try and find something similar in your area (mine was called City Thrift, maybe you have one).

  • Cheetah Sweater: $4.50
  • White Shirt: $3.00
  • Jeans: $0.00
  • Black Booties:$0.00

Total: $7.50

  • Cheetah Sweater: $22.00
  • White Button-Up Shirt: $24.99
  • Jeans: You own jeans! Don’t buy too many pairs.
  • Black Booties: $32.99

Total: $79.98

Week Two: Feb. 14th

What is more perfect for Valentines Day than a sweet pink outfit! This innocent get-up would be perfect for a date night out or a galentines night in. The scalloped hem was a little too specific to find while looking at a thrift store. You can find items like it at a thrift store but the chances of finding it right when I’m looking for it are very slim. But I can still recreate the look.
